“Less Teaching, More Learning”

Dean Imogen R. Coe, Faculty of Science, and Dr. Tetyana Antimirova, Faculty of Science Teaching Chair, invite the Ryerson Community to a lecture by the distinguished science education expert Dr. Douglas Luckie. The presentation is entitled “Less teaching, more learning” and will be held on April 10th, Chang School, 7th Floor.

Dr. Luckie is director of the CF Research Lab and STEM Learning Lab, Michigan State University. His research is focused on discipline-based education research (DBER) into the use of a variety of pedagogies, e.g. visual models, interdisciplinary discourse and inquiry laboratories, to increase student higher-level learning in the sciences.
