A post from John Paul Foxe, Coordinator of the TA/GA Development Program:
The 2014/2015 TA/GA Award nominations are now open. The purpose of these awards is to recognize, promote and reward the contributions that teaching and graduate assistants (TA/GAs) make to enhance the quality of undergraduate student learning experiences at Ryerson.
The TA/GA Awards created in collaboration with the Department of Human Resources, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) 3904 Unit 3, faculty, staff and TA/GAs themselves, centre on the development of self-directedness in the TA/GA role by emphasizing three criteria: (1) community building, (2) employee relations and (3) the student experience.
This year, up to 5 awards of $500 are available.
For more information on the these awards and the nomination process, visit the TA/GA Awards website.
